Christ first demostrated His love for us when He died on the cross for our sins
Indeed .. we are living at the end of times ..
this is wat that is goin to happen when Christ come back for the 2nd time
firstly .. there will be a great tribulation which would last for 3 years( mt 24:29 )
secondly .. there will be a blackout (joel 2:31 )
thirdly .. the Day of the Lord will come and the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of the saints will happen simultaneously
as mentioned revelation 5:5 .. Jesus is the only worthly one to open the seal
comparing both matthew chapter 24 and relevation chapter 6.. we will then know what will come before the Day of the Lord
1st seal : Deception
Rev 6:1 - 2 and Mt 24:4-5
Aint we living in the period where people are proclaiming that they are the messiah? Aint we living in the period where various cult groups are appearing and deceive the people that they are the messiah and they committed mass suicide?
2nd seal : Wars
Rev 6:3-4 and Mt 24:6-7a
Aint we living at such a time as this where rumours of wars and wars are going on all around the world?
3rd seal : Famines
Rev 6:5-6 and Mt 24:7b
There are famines all around the 3rd world countries and more...
4th seal : Death
Rev 6:7-8 and Mt 24:7c - 8
This four seals are grouped in the catergory " beginning of sorrows "
Authority was given.. to kill 1/4 of the world population.. juz look at the recent tsunami and earthquake..
subsequently .. the 5th , 6th and 7th seal are the great tribulation , blackout and the Day of the Lord itself.
my friends.. we will be tested according to our Faith during the great tribulation..
imagine a situation .. your unsaved parents being gun-pointed in front of you .. the Anti-Christ forcing you to deny Christ or they would kill your parents in front of you.. would you succumb to the situation or will your faith stay strong?
the reason i am blogging this is not to scare anyone.. but to remind.. that the End Times are drawing near.. time is crucial .. we NID to reach out even more.. to bring all people into the kingdom of God
tribulation and suffering is a promise to us .. Jn 16:33
BE OF GOOD CHEER.. He has overcome the world..

" For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.."
If the apostles and disciples were tortured and crucified because of the Good News.. we , the followers , will too face all these things
the Lord is merciful and gracious.. Ask for His grace to see you through all these tribulations
Rom 5:3
" And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation preduces perseverance.. "
Be ready for the Day of the Lord as it shall come as like a thief in the night... do not be caught unaware
Christ gave His life to you because of love.. will you too?
